FMS Board of Directorswelcomes new members:Adria Badagnani and Karynn Fish!
Adria (Violet’s Mom!) has an educational background in performing arts, public speaking, and production management. She brings professional experience in higher education and nonprofit administration, as well as creative interactive experiences. She works as the Writing Program Lead for the Hoffman Center for the Arts in Manzanita and as practice manager for Oregon Coast Chiropractic and Mutter Chiropractic. Adria offers her skillset in written communications and collaborative project management to the FMS Board. She enjoys writing poetry, quiet time in the forest, creating ceremony aligned with the rhythm of the year, and culinary projects with her family.
Karynn is a sixth-generation Oregonian who has lived on the North Coast since 2020, when her son, Elijah, joined Fire Mountain School as a third grader. Inspired by the loving community of educators, parents, and neighbors who make FMS such a special place, Karynn served on the Board from 2021–23 and recently returned as a parent-alumna member. Her son now attends Neah-Kah-Nie schools, where last year his English teacher was an original Fire Mountain School alumnus. Karynn also serves on the boards of the Oregon Coast Alliance and the Arch Cape–Falcon Cove Beach Community Club.
We are thrilled to have Adria and Karynn on our Board and look forward to all the value their contributions will bring to the FMS community.
