APPLICATIONS

We strongly recommend that you schedule a visit with the school prior to applying by contacting us at firemountainschool@gmail.com.

For 2023/24 school year applications there is an application fee of $40.00 which can be paid via check to:
Fire Mountain School, 6505 Elk Flat Road, Arch Cape, OR 97102

We will reach out in case we have any questions about your application or if we would like to schedule an interview in addition. We enroll 12 students per class. If there are more applicants than available spots, we will start a waitlist.


CLASSES
Fire Mountain will enroll 2 mixed aged classes for the 2023/24 school year:
- EASTERN EAGLES: Preschool, Kindergarten and First Grade (ages 4-6)
- WESTERN WOLVES: Elementary Class, Grades 2-5 (ages 7-10)
We limit the number of children in each classroom to twelve students to ensure individual attention.

We largely mirror the 10 month Public School schedule from September - June, though we may start a few days later and end a few days earlier. School year and tuition is based on these 10 months: September to June. Our School is open Monday - Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm with the possibility of aftercare on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (at additional rates).


TUITION 2023/24:
Please note that any tuition payment goes directly into teacher's salaries and is therefore most essential for the operation of our school. We let our families determine the annual tuition depending on their personal ability and family income.

Our annual tuition for ages 4-10 (preK - grade 5) for a 5 day week (Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 3:00pm) is on a
sliding scale.  Depending on personal ability and family income we offer the following options for annual tuition payment:  
1) $8,500.00        2) $7,500.00       3) $6,500.00

For preschool (age 4) we have the option for a 3 day week (Monday - Wednesday; 9:00-3:00pm)
with the annual tuition options:
1) $6,500.00       2) $5,500.00        3) $4,500.00

Annual, quarterly or monthly payment plans are available.


DEPOSIT
Once you have our invitation to enroll in Fire Mountain School, a tuition deposit of $500.00 must be paid within two weeks to secure your child's spot in class. This deposit will be subtracted from the Annual Tuition.
